MÉRIDA VISITING LILIENTHAL

Spanish students from IES Albarregas meet their German friends from Gymnasium Lilienthal for a week from April 21st to April 29th 2015. The students from both schools will be learning and colaborating in activities related to the hero chosen by Lilienthal: Stoertebeker

Hello everybody!

This year's exchange program is a special one, because we are part of an Erasmus + project called European Heroes, in which four schools take part: The French Lycée Choiseul, the Portuguese Real Colegio de Portugal, the Spanish IES Albarregas and the German Gymnasium Lilienthal. This document is the result of students hard work in the so called Erasmus club. In groups, German students did research on our hero Klaus Stoertebeker, a pirate who lived in the 14th century. There are many legends about his doings, for example how he received his last name or how he tried to save as many lives as possible when he was to be decapitated.
On that basis Spanish and German students created a theatre play with singing and dancing elements to act out the interesting life of Klaus Stoertebeker.
This is an overview of all the activities shared by our German and Spanish heroes in Lilienthal.

DAY ONE

After such a hard work there are no school activities in the afternoon. Time to get to know German family life.
