We had a guide for the Museo Nacional de Arte Romano.
We played a bit.
We went home for lunch and at 5 we met again to visit the Arab fortress, la Alcazaba.

And we made a film about scenes from El Cid
HEROES DE EUROPA This blog will collect information and activities created about four European heroes: Jeanne d'Arc, El Cid, Stortebeker and Nuno Alvares Pereira. Four high schools take part in the Heroes Project: IES Albarregas (Mérida), Lycée Choiseul (Tours), Gymnasium Lilienthal (Lilienthal- Alemania), Real Colégio de Portugal (Lisboa).

TUESDAY -DAY TWO
Today we went to Cáceres, a town with about 80.000 people with a historical centre dating from the Middle Ages.
We visited the Museo de Cáceres where we were explained about the different periods of history up to the Medieval times and about some aspects of rural ways of living in Cáceres until the mid 1950's.
We walked around the historical centre and made a film about El Cid which will be shown soon.
